Hello! My
name is Cherish Thornton. I will be your Science/ Language Arts teacher.
I am really excited about this school year and getting to know each of
you. I wanted to begin by telling you a few things about me....
I am married to
Matt Thornton. Together we have 4 beautiful children. Kendahl ( 9)
, Brandt ( 2) , Luke (10), and Clay ( 7). We also have a dog Ruby and a
bunny named Oreo. My husband Matt plays guitar in a band and also at
church. We love going to listen to him play and cheering him on.
Our family loves
to be outside as well. We ride four wheelers, work in the yard, garden,
play baseball, and throw the football. With all these boys, we have to
keep them busy!!!
I have been
teaching for 7 years. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher.
It is my passion. I love children and being around their vibrant
personalities. This year I look forward to working in the school garden,
and starting our compost project back up. We will also be utilizing our
outdoor classroom as much as we can.
